Analog / SDI Video Monitor
The MON4-3 is a four 4" LCD color video monitor in a 3U rack-size. Each LCD features dedicated trim-pot controls for color, tint/hue, contrast and brightness and an aspect ratio of 4:3. NTSC and PAL video formats automatically detected and accommodated. There are independent rear panel power and input termination switches for each LCD display. The LCDs are mounted in a cylinder, which allows the user to rotate the display array approximately ±30° in the vertical plane for optimum operator viewing angles. The MON4-3 features four CVBS (composite) video inputs and loop-through outputs on BNC connectors. A DB-25 connector on the rear panel can be interfaced to most tally systems and there are built-in dual-color (red/green) LEDs on the front panel for tally indication. Unit power is indicated by a front panel LED. There is a front panel input select (I/P) switch for each screen for selecting between the primary analog (CVBS) input source "A" and the optional input source "B" (if options are installed). One of four optional input sections may be installed in the "B" section (one per screen); an additional CVBS input (MAV-1), an HD/SD-SDI input (MHD-1), an SDI input (MSDI-1), or an RGB input (RGB-1). Rear panel switches include a 75 ohm termination switch for analog composite (CVBS) inputs and an SDI input SMPTE color bar on/off switch (if the MSDI-1 option is installed) These optional input modules are field-installable and require installation to the interior of the unit.
